More Wishful Thinking, This Time At HuffPo

Gotta love those unnamed sources; Lawrence O’Donnell, the former Executive Director of The West Wing and newly minted pundit, wrote a piece for HuffPo today saying that a little birdie from the Clinton camp told him that “there will be a Democratic nominee by June 15″.

“A senior campaign official and Clinton confidante has told me that there will be a Democratic nominee by June 15,” O’Donnell wrote. “He could not bring himself to say the words ‘Hillary will drop out by June 15,’ but that is clearly what he meant. I kept saying, ‘So, Hillary will drop out by June 15,’ and he kept saying, ‘We will have a nominee by June 15.’ He stressed what a reasonable person Hillary is.”

O’Donnell did not cite his source.

I though HuffPo’s knock against Clinton that she wasn’t a reasonable person who would drop out to “save the party”. Not to mention the complete absurdity of that statement, by June 15 the primary season will be over and presumably all the superdelegates will have picked their candidate.
