Obama had a conference call yesterday with John Edwards’ pledged South Carolina delegates. The Obama camp is maintaining that it was a courtesy call, nothing more, but I call shenanigans on that one. Edwards has not officially endorsed a canidate and released his pledged delegates, if he doesn’t do so his delegates will be free to vote for either Obama or Clinton at the DNC convention.
And the plot thickens…..

Edwards has some raw talent but only experience in sueing doctors and running for president. His 6 years in the Senate was remarkable only for being gung-ho for the Iraq war. Still…he has a certain following that Obama would like to tap.
He and his wife are being cute by one voting for Hillary and one for Obama.
Does the plot thicken or sicken?

I think we all know who is the “slick” one behind
the scenes–I would say that he is definately trying
to grab the delegates. I do not care for his
style of politics, frankly.

Jane,
Apparently you like the salty grumpy old man Yosemite Sam schtick of McCain.
McCain is no more rigorous now in understanding the issues now than when he was at understanding his studies at the USNA at the bottom of his class.
He is a superstitious compulsive gambler (craps) with an anger management problem.
His top foreign policy advisor, Randall Scheunemann is another is another piece of work. He was instrumental in getting us into Iraq and until a few months ago was on Republic of Georgia and McCain payrolls.
McCain could start World War 3 just to show how “tough he is”.
