Obama’s Spinal Tap Moment

I can’t make this stuff up. During a speech Obama was giving in Sioux Falls, SD, he made the wonderfully comedic mistake of saying “Thank you Sioux City!” There’s audio at the story link, it’s pretty damn funny. Obama realizes his city slip-up pretty quick and corrects himself (unlike his 57 state comment), but it is the quintessential Spinal Tap moment. Hello Cleveland!
PS - If you have never seen Spinal Tap and therefore don’t get the joke here, I insist that you take time this weekend to rent it. It is truly one of the best satirical movies ever.
