McCain Starts Going After Clinton Supporters

Well hell, they’re already threatening to vote for him anyway, might as well court them.

“I think that could attract some of Senator Clinton’s voters…who believe that I am by far best qualified to secure this nation’s future,” McCain told reporters a press conference following a town hall meeting in the Bayou State. “I think there (are) a lot of Senator Clinton’s supporters who will support me because of their belief that Senator Obama does not have the experience or the knowledge or the judgment to address this nation’s national security challenges given we are in two wars.”

The Dems better start that healing process quick.

  • Some of those Clintonian Democrats are nothing more or less than Reaganite Democrats a few yeasr later. That subset of Democrat will most likely vote for McCain because Obama’s platform – what there is of it – comes across as being farther to the Left than Hillary’s was.

It’s hard to vote for someone who you believe will take food off your and your family’s table when there’s not that excess on the table to start with.

  • Hey, who knew I was a subset?

Well, actually I’m not. I’ve voted Democratic most of my life, including Gore, and Kerry, but Obama will not get my vote.

There are millions of us . . . young, old, black, white, etc. who will vote McCain because we believe Obama’s brand of politics is dangerous for this country. Besides we’ve already suffered the consequences of electing a president who wasn’t ready for the job from day one. We don’t need another.

McCain has been more gracious about HRC than Obambi and the mainstream media, particularly MSNBC where you only have to wait 60 seconds for another Clinton bashing.
