Hillary is slated to give her concession speech about a half hour from now, and her supporters are still pretty damn unhappy.
“It makes us feel schizophrenic,” said Martha Burk, immediate past chair of the National Council of Women’s Organizations. “For the first time in history, we can see that a woman can and will be president,” she said. But the campaign, which Burk and many other feminists said was riddled with sexist attacks in the media, “exposed barriers that we thought we had overcome years ago,” she said.
…
Hundreds of women have logged onto Clinton’s campaign website, with many insisting they will not vote for “that man” – Obama – and urging Clinton to run as an independent or challenge Obama’s nomination at the August convention in Denver. Many on the website pledged to vote for Senator John McCain of Arizona, the presumptive GOP nominee.
Other websites have sprung up to denounce Democrats for picking Obama. One – called PUMA, an acronym for the sentiment “Party Unity My Ass” – features postings by Clinton supporters saying they will never vote for Obama, even if it means electing McCain.
PUMA….I like it. It’s like cougar, ‘cept different.
UPDATE – Hillary is already a half hour late for her speech. Normally I disdane tardiness but I suppose it’s OK to be late to one own funeral.

Barack and His Strategy player or not you decide
Did Hillary get played did we all get played.
The Democratic nomination is not needed to win the national election is it?.
Her speech today will determin if she is washed up with the voters.
change my ass the same game new package just a player called Barack Obama
Change only comes from a person who stands up for something not down
Will Hillary Concede Today and speak for the party that dumped on Her or can She speak for the 18 million voters and stand for all that is right even if one must stand alone one must stand for what is right. or change will never come.
that see this for what it truly is a flawed way of thinking that if only we had a black president we could heal this country no no no the horse gos behind the carage to truley end raceist hatered in this country one must stop takeing there children to kkk raleys to hear such hatered of blacks and yes one must stop takeing ones children to hear hatered at whites even if the hatered is in ones church.
With a white far right or black far left president we may never heal this country ifpersonal responsablity for exposing ones children to hatered to just pass it on to the next generation.
I could give a fling rats ass of the color of our president if people dont take the responablty of not exposing there own children to hatered the game will never CHANGE only the players.

Consider this possibility: people understand the rage, and agree that the sexism of the campaign has been hideous, but that some of us simply loathe Hillary Clinton. We find her disgusting because of who she is as a politician, not because she is a woman.
Given the astonishing degree to which America still feels no compunction about putting its sexism on full display, the anger and disillusionment is entirely appropriate. Some of us simply disagree whether Hillary Clinton ought to be the beneficiary of that well-directed outrage.

Consider this.
1. There are some of us that simply loathe Obama, not because he is black, but because he is political hack who learned how to package himself differently.
2. He’s not ready to be president. We’ve suffered through one “beginner” president and we don’t need another one following in Bush’s footsteps.
3. He lacks courage . . . gimme a break he voted “present” over 100 times. How hard is it to vote “yes” or “no” and get your position on the record. Oh, wait a minute, this way your opponent can’t use your non-vote against you. He’s a clever puss isn’t he?
4. He lacks commitment . . . he’s the Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, Subcommittee on Europe in a position to hold the Bush administration’s feet to fire concerning the war in Iraq.
Does he hold even one meeting noooooo . . . he’s too busy running for president. Know who else is on that same committee with him? Dodd and Biden! To think I used to hold these senators in high esteem. This is simply unforgivable. Worse, its bad politics. You mean he couldn’t figure out how to use all those cameras and press people to good advantage while putting Bush’s War on trial?
Hillary’s Army will be putting its well-directed rage to good use . . . seeing that Obama doesn’t get elected!
