It’s a bit, um, hypocritical to call for this candidate to release their tax returns and that candidate to release their medical records yet you aren’t willing to do something as simple as showing us your birth certificate.
I guess the change we’re in for is a double standard.
PS – If I were McCain, I would post a copy of my birth certificate to the official McCain site. Just to be a smartass.
UPDATE – Well isn’t that convient. Apparently the press can’t get ahold of a copy of Obama’s birth certificate, but Kos can. Why do I feel like screaming BS on this one?
UPDATE ver 1.1 – The word is that the Obama camp leaked this to DailyKos (why?) and that what Kos has isn’t Obama’s actual birth certificate, but a statement of live birth.

I cannot see any reason not to release his birth certificate unless there is something to hide. It is like the DVD that is supposed to exist from a meeting Mrs Obama attended, the tv company refused to release it, the Church wesite ceased selling it and purged it from the website. There seems to be a double standard here! It continues with information requested on financial issues from the prospective VPS’s and President Bill Clinton yet we have not got to grips with Obama’s financials regarding Farrikhan and Resko. We cannot have a president with these kind of standards we would not be getting any improvement on the existing President!! More vetting needs to be done before Novemeber.

honestly, as a supporter of Barack, why not release your birth certificate? Jackie Robinson was partly chosen to break the color barrier in baseball because everyone knew he had spotless character and that would be what it takes to whether the racist storm of being the first African-American to be in the Major Leauges. Hopefully we have come farther than that as a nation by now, but why not just get out ahead of all this crap…..

Please get away from the issue of racism please! No wonder we have so many problems in this country. Everyone I know before they enlisted in the service of our country had to produce this document. When I applied for a visa I had to produce the original document (they wouldn’t accept a copy) to show I was a American citizen. Obama is no better. Anyone who has suffered as a result of 911 would not question this procedure especially involving someone who is attempting to qualify for one of the highest positions in our country. I would expect anyone who has that type of name alone to be questioned even if he was white. As a lawyer he should know better. If he had complied in the very beginning, this could have been cleared up early on. His act of defiance
indicates to me that he is not to be trusted. He is relying on the sympathy of the American voters to come to his defense in defiance of the national security assurance they have demanded from their government resulting from the terrorist attack on New York. Any American citizen who wishes to relinquish that right should make themselves known. However, at the same time they should relinquish their right to enjoy the freedoms of our country.
It is sad that while discrimination against race is so readily found to be distasteful, the discrimination against ones gender or age is not. One is just as bad as the other. Women have fought for years to even be given the right to vote and still fight today for equal pay for equal work. So having a women nominee for the Vice Presidential slot should not disqualify her any more than they do Obama. Just because individuals like they way he looks and talks and because he is younger doesn’t qualify him for the Presidency. He has to prove himself to me and due to the amount of controversy surrounding him now, that will never happen.

WE WANT CHANGE BUT AT WHAT COST?
Who are we really voting for, Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, or Barack Obama? The names all seem to run together or match to some degree. What, if any, are the hidden agendas? One more charismatic and educated in American schools with the ultimate power of persuasion and ingenious use of propaganda is no better than the others!
As an non-partisan voter, I was originally going to consider Obama, but now I am too much concerned about his association with questionable individuals, especially those with radical tendencies, and those in Europe and his being surrounded by so much controversy to want to take the chance. Not to mention his incomplete security clearance. The Muslim-Islamic saying that they will raise the flag at the White House has me extremely concerned! Will this be Obama they have reference to! I only hope Americans make the right choice but not for the wrong reasons.
I prefer the devil I know than the one I don’t. Especially knowing that unless changes are made in congress to weed out those that were at fault in the financial disaster aside that of the President, nothing will actually happen by changing party affiliation except to possibly undermine the security of our country and American people as well!

I just read 4 carefully written and detailed articles at Right Side News concerning the issue of Barack Obama’s birth certificate or lack thereof. From what I have read two birth certificates have been seen that identify two different hospitals in Hawaii so leaves me in doubt? There are also claims that one birth certificate was a copy of his half sister’s. What is going on?
I have also listened to a tape that indicates that Barack was born in Kenya, in the town of Mombassa and the precise hospital is given also.
It is alleged that Barack’s young mother was not permitted to fly on board a jet back to America since she was about ready to give birth (that is, her due date was imminent, and the airline authorities thought travel would be dangerous for her to attempt. Thus, it is has been reported that she remained in Kenya for a short while and gave birth to her son Barack and then quickly returned to Hawaii.
Now all I know is that something doesnt seem right here?
And it’s interesting to note that the press has been prevented from questioning any of Barack’s family’s members and the two hospitals have armed guards preventing people from gaining access to birth records…um…….I wonder.
So what is to be done?
Well, cases have been brought to court and dismissed, but one court still has yet to make a decision and that will be interesting. But first,
the Supreme Ct. needs something. They have requested the Barack Obama to hand over a copy of his birth certificate one that they feel is genuine.
Remember the Justices will abide by the Constitution and if something isnt presented to them by December 1st I imagine they will be highly suspicious.
And this must be settled once and for all before the Electoral College meets on December 13th to give Barack Obama the green light so that he can be our next president.
