Beltway Snark

OK, I’m sure the Obamamaniacs aren’t riding him for this one, but everyone else and their brother are. Of all the slams I’ve seen today, I like Ben Smith’s best. Even the title of his article is spot-on; Obama opts of of system, but not out of character. There’s too many good quotes to pull, and the whole article is a good read.

I don’t care how much money Obama has and can raise on his own, this will come back to bite him. It’s one more flip-flop, a broken promise, and fuel for Mr. Campaign Reform’s fire.

PS – For everyone who will comment with the whole “but McCain isn’t accepting public financing!”, yes he is. McCain knows it would be political suicide for him not to do so. Plus, he needs the money.
