Obama is an attention whore, but I don’t think he would leak his Western Wall prayer to the press before putting it into the Wall.

[A] Ma’ariv spokesman said that “Barack Obama’s note was approved for publication in the international media even before he put in the Kotel, a short time after he wrote it at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem. In any case, since Obama is not a Jew, publishing the note does not constitute an infringement on his right to privacy.”

The paper added that is was “pleased” with its “journalistic accomplishment.”

Sounds like BS to me. I don’t think Obama would be quite that stupid.

UPDATE – Gateway Pundit isn’t putting it past Team Obama to pull a stunt like that. If Team Obama really did leak his prayer to the press before putting it into the wall, he can say buh-bye to that new-found Jewish support. I don’t think very many Jews (or non-Jews for that matter) are going to take too kindly to having one of their most holy sites used as a campaign prop.
