Beltway Snark

I’m actually watching this convention live, bizarrely enough it’s turning out to be way more interesting than the DNCC. All the primetime speech last night were pretty good, here’s text of the important ones. Laura Bush gave a nice intro speech for her husband, W did a fairly good job seeing as he wasn’t physically there, Fred knocked it out of the ballpark, and Joe wrapped things up well. All in all, a pretty good night of speeches. Of course Palin is slated to speak tonight, this should get pretty interesting….
