I don’t know, does he support clean coal or not?
I’m really confused; does he want to explore the idea of clean coal or not? Does he believe in the idea of clean coal? Does he want China to have clean coal energy but not the US? I’m so confused….
And another point Biden made in last night’s debate that I took issue with, but am not of a foreign policy wonk to write on myself, is the idea that us and France kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon. Like I said, I’m no foreign policy wonk but I know that Hezbollah is indeed alive and well in Lebanon, and in fact weren’t kicked out by anyone and maintain a major presence there. Fortunately I found someone who is enough of a foreign policy wonk to speak authoritatively on the idea that Hezbollah was kicked out of Lebanon (even though Biden, in his next sentence, said himself that Hezbollah has a finger in Lebanon’s government) and to debunk the idea that anyone suggested that NATO step in. Not a big deal to Joe Sixpack, but it does provide a bit of insight into a man who was tapped to be VP specifically because of his foreign policy experience.
