Here’s an answer that you didn’t want. It involves our current President. You know, the one you voted for. Twice.
Bush was not only unprepared for the office, he was a failure at every single thing he touched, in his entire life. Lousy student, ducked any semblance of military duty, ran multiple businesses (purchased for him by Daddy) right into the ground, helped turn his baseball team into the laughingstock of the league. Drug addict. Alcoholic.
Yet, the GOP touted him as Presidential timbre. Held him up as worthy.
Now, we have an educated, intelligent, forward-looking man trying to repair this broken country of ours, and you slam him at every turn. Not just you, David, but most of the GOP, and the advertising.
Have you noticed that all of the ads for McCain have been negative, hate-filled attack ads? Not one that I’ve seen have touted McCain or explained positions. Not one. Most of them don’t even show McCain’s face. Just angry photoshopped Obama faces.
Don’t know about you, David, but I’m tired of the hate. Tired of the epithets being screamed at McCain rallies. Isn’t it time that the country worked together to fix our problems? Or will you scream at me for suggesting this?

I hope you will enjoy living in a socialistic nation, run by blacks with nothing going for them except the guilt of white libs out there and I hope you will be big enough to take the responsibility for the damage that will be done to our country. If I hear one more person, black or white cry racist, I will scream. The black community has done more to promote racism in this country in the last 12 months then any white person has done in the las 200 years. If that makes me a racist, then so be it. Direct answer: I believe, as do the majority of Americans, that Obama has the education, the brains, the temperment, and the foresight needed to help lead this country out of the mess we currently find ourselves in.
Side points:
Why do Republicans like David and ‘Clinker’, who posted above, find it necessary to spell and say his name wrong? Why is it impossible to say his name, like the rest of us have with Bush for the past 8 years? Why is it necessary to call me foul names? I don’t recall using profane language with you, or anyone else on this site. Aren’t you smart enough to carry on a civil conversation?
And, although my taste in women do tend to reside mainly in the Caucasian range, you have to admit that Michelle will be a definite improvement over Barbara Bush. Although, ‘Clinker’, I’m not sure what that has to do with the election. Maybe you’re just looking for anything you can grab onto to gripe about.
And, it’s hilarious that I point out the tiresome negativity from the GOP side, and what do I get back? Huge negativity! Priceless.
I was very worried that the GOP would somehow manage to steal this election, as they did the last two. Thankfully, this time it won’t be close enough to matter. So, steal all you want. Shut down polling places in black neighborhoods. Rig touch screens to automatically switch votes. It won’t matter.

I run a profitable business in which I hire people and give them a chance to fulfill their dreams.
I AM MORE QUALIFIED THAN OBAMA TO RUN THIS COUNTRY AND BALANCE THE BUDGET SINCE I HAVE TO DO THAT ON A MONTHLY BASIS.
If Hillary, and Obama, and Biden, and Reid, and Pelosi are all so qualified to create jobs, then why don’t they start a business and create them. The job of government isn’t to create jobs.
And nobody is entitled to a job just because they are unemployed. They can get a job if there is an opening which they are qualified to do it and the person in charge deems them competent to hire.
The answer is that these politicians are not qualified to sweep my floors, therefore they became demagogues and go into politics.
And if my taxes are raised to the point where it is no longer profitable to be in business then that business will be shut down and people will be unemployed.
I don’t care if I have the cure for cancer: if Uh-bama wants to take it from me I will swallow it and not give it to anybody. I am a businessman and in a free society deserve to be paid for my efforts, not punished for them.
I know this sounds foreign to a bunch of Obama-bots, ya know freedom. But I would rather go to prison defending the Constitution than give you and Peggy Joseph anything that I worked for and your lazy asses didn’t.

1. I do not consider myself a Liberal.
2. The Harvard Law Review unique among law reviews can be cited in a court of law. Obama was the president. He was the creme de la creme de la creme.
3. He beat two Clintons for the nomination in his first attempt. That calls for leadership and many other skills.
4. Without the years of special training and decades of “experience”, Obama took readily available information and predicted the consequences of an Iraq invasion with uncanney accuracy because he had common sense and good judgement.
5. Maybe Obama has not convinced you but he did convince Colin Powell , Warren Buffet and countless others.
6. I have been a physician in critical care medicine over 33 years and an officer abourd ships for 7 years. I have some training, experience and opinions about high stakes decision making.
My training and qualifications include a commission as a naval line officer, a merchant marine license, MD, MBA and board certification.
7. McCain is an intellectually lazy, emotionally unstable , superstitous, compulsive gambler with an anger management problem. his 23 combat missions were way below average. Hundreds of other POWs were offered early release and refused.
8. McCain has refused to release medical records and N. Vietnamese records of his imprisonment
9. Obama is cool, smart and articulate.

Let me take this opportunity to wish you all the luck in the world. I was hoping to help you to feel better about Obama when he becomes President.
I tried to explain why I voted for Obama and why I think that he is qualified. We need to agree to disagree.
I suspect that you think that bluster and bullying is the hallmark of a good leader. Maybe you have seen too many John Wayne movies.
