I was hoping that would be a trend that ended with the campaign cycle, but no, it seems to be Obama’s MO. Here’s the full text of his speech, it really doesn’t give much in the way of paticulars on what Obama plans to do to fix the economy. It does feature a good bit of fear mongering and a “we’ve got to act NOW” tone though. Nothing you haven’t heard before. The Dow wasn’t impressed either. In fact it was slightly depressed.
PS – Why is he even giving this speech? I thought we only had one POTUS at a time…..
