About Beltway Snark

Beltway Snark is a blog devoted to reporting political news the way it’s begging to be reported; with an abundant amount of ridicule and derision. If you like your political news with a goodly amount of snark, you’ve come to the right place. I do not confine my snarkiness to one political party, as far as I’m concerned everyone is fair game. That includes Keith Olbermann.

I have spawed two other blogs now, LOLPolis and Political Demotivation. I like to think the names are pretty self-explanatory, LOLPolis is for the making and showing of political lols and Political Demotivation is for the making and showing of political demotivational posters.

Now for the “About Me” section of the About Me page….

My name is Jennifer MQ. I abbreviate my last name because a) I don’t want any of you looking me up online and making surprise visits to my house and b) my last name seems to be difficult for some. Not as difficult as Moulitsas mind you, but difficult enough that it is routinely mangled by waitstaff. I am 27 years old, and spend way too much time online reading about politics. I have a 40 hour a week job (50 hours with the commute), a husband, and a furry four-legged feline son. We live in a nice little house in a nice little ‘burb of Atlanta. Neither one of us is from here originally, I was born and raised in SoFla and the hubby was born on an Army base in Germany and raised in the Bronx.

I don’t have fancy degrees or anything, so we can skip right over the education part. I’m pretty good at being snarky and sarcastic, so I think that qualifies me for this job. Besides, last time I checked they didn’t have Snark 101 in any colleges or universities. Some things cannot be taught.

Oh yeah, I just made a MySpace page, if you want to add me as your firend or something that’s be cool. I’m still trying to figure out the whole MySpace thing, so don’t make fun of me for my non-pimped page.

  • I was checking out your blog and wanted to invite you to cross link with our political magazine: ToTheCenter.com.

We’re launching a blog roll and would love to list you there too. With thousands of readers a month, I thought cross linking would be mutually beneficial. We saw that you’re listing a lot of other political magazines such as us so we hope you’ll list us too.

    Thanks,
    John
